Mike Ferris is a printmaker and illustrator currently working and living in Kansas City, Mo. He finds that travel, looking at other artists, and working with other artists is essential to growth, improvement, and happiness when creating his own work.

Mike’s work strives to tell a narrative of some sort, and has been the representation of various characters and/or stories thought up while dreaming (day and night). That said, his work will sometimes be made just for the fun of it, the character in the illustration may not have a story, this leaves the viewer to decide the story.

Mike is currently set to graduate from the University of Central Missouri in May of 2012, with degrees in Commercial Art Illustration and Studio Art Printmaking.
